AI product agency · flexible engagement

An AI product agency: by fixed-scope project or on a monthly retainer

Product engineering, AI and DevOps in one senior team that takes your AI product from a written verdict to production, then keeps it running. You choose how to work with us: a fixed-scope project in phases, a monthly product retainer or on-demand support.

TALK TO A CTO

Tell us what product you want to build. You get a written reply within 24 hours.

A CTO reads your case and replies with a first take: which model fits (project, retainer or on-demand support), where to start and what the team looks like.

No call unless you want one: we reply in writing within 24 hours, with the model and the next step.

ENGAGEMENT MODELS

Fixed-scope project, monthly retainer or on-demand support: it depends on where your product is

The state of the product picks the model, not the other way round. What doesn't exist yet is built by project, phase by phase. What already works with real users keeps evolving under a retainer. What is stable gets support when it needs it. And you can move from one model to the next without changing teams.

01.

Fixed-scope project

For a new AI product, or one that has to reach production: you know the outcome you want and need someone to build it.

Includes

  • Written scope, deliverables and success criteria for every phase
  • A closed price per phase, agreed before the phase starts
  • Code, prompts, evals and pipelines in your repositories and your cloud
Starts with the Diagnostic & Blueprint
02.

Monthly product retainer

For a product that already works and has to keep shipping: new features, AI capabilities, integrations, performance.

Includes

  • A stable senior team on your roadmap, month after month
  • A monthly plan and priorities agreed with you; no lock-in, 30 days' notice
  • Product engineering, AI and DevOps in one team, not three vendors
Starts in the first month
03.

On-demand support

For a stable product that needs an expert hand when something changes: a new model, an integration, an incident, an audit.

Includes

  • Evolutive maintenance with no lock-in and 30 days' notice
  • Out-of-hours support and on-call agreed in the contract, not improvised
  • Engineers who read the system before they touch it, not a ticket queue
Starts once the product is in production
HOW WE START

From a written verdict to a product in production, one step at a time

Every step has its own scope, and you can stop at the end of any of them without owing anything for the next. Nobody asks you for a retainer to build something that doesn't work yet.

01.

Diagnostic & Blueprint

A working CTO reads your code, data and cloud (or your idea and your constraints) and writes the verdict: what stays, what gets rebuilt, which AI to use and how it will run. It is yours, whoever builds next.

2 weeks · written verdict
02.

14-day Pilot Sprint

Senior engineers work in your repository on one real piece of the plan, so you judge output, not slides.

14 days · in your repo
03.

MVP in production

The same team takes the product to production with evals, CI and observability from day one, at a closed price per phase.

6 weeks · fixed scope
04.

Retainer or on-demand support

Once it runs, you choose: you keep the operation, we stay on a monthly product retainer, or you call us when you need us.

Monthly · 30 days' notice

Already in production with real users? The retainer can start in the first month, without going through the pilot.

WHO DOES THE WORK

One senior team for the whole cycle: product engineering, AI and DevOps

Most AI product work breaks between the demo and the operation. We cover the whole cycle with the same team, inside your repositories and your cloud, using our own AI-assisted engineering platform, Conect AI Dev.

01.

Product engineering

Flows, scope and success criteria agreed with you, then built in Node/TypeScript, React, Next.js or Python. We design interfaces and flows as part of what we deliver; design is never sold on its own.

02.

AI

AI applications, LLM integration in the product you already run and private inference in your legal region, with evals and guardrails on the flows that move money and data.

03.

DevOps and operation

A CI that catches what an agent breaks, infrastructure as code, observability and the runbooks to operate it all. A named senior engineer answers for what reaches production.

WHEN WE'RE NOT THE FIT

When another kind of partner will serve you better

Saying it here saves us both a meeting.

  • You only need design. If you are looking for a design studio, or an ongoing design retainer with no build behind it, a product studio will serve you better. We design inside a build we take to production.
  • You need one freelancer for a narrow piece. For a single, well-bounded ML or LLM piece that you will integrate and run yourself, a specialist network is faster and cheaper.
  • You are training a model, not building a product. Training data, model evaluation at scale or a bench of data scientists is a different job. We build products on top of models, and we run them.
  • Your procurement needs a year-long contract fixed upfront. We work in phases, with an exit at the end of each one. If your process needs a single annual contract with the whole scope fixed on day one, a large consultancy fits that process better.

FAQ

What buyers ask before choosing a model

Fixed-scope project or retainer: which one do we need?

It depends on where the product is. If it doesn't exist yet or doesn't hold up in production, a project in phases: written scope, a closed price per phase and an exit at the end of each one. If it already works with real users and has to keep shipping, a monthly product retainer. If it is stable and only needs a hand now and then, on-demand support. The Diagnostic & Blueprint tells you which one, in writing.

What does the monthly retainer include?

A stable senior team on your roadmap (product engineering, AI and DevOps), with a monthly plan and priorities agreed with you, a review of every change before it reaches production and the operation of what we ship. No lock-in: it runs month to month with 30 days' notice. Out-of-hours support and on-call are agreed in the contract.

Can we start with something small?

Yes, and it is how we prefer to start. The first step is the Diagnostic & Blueprint: two weeks and a written verdict on what to build, keep or replace, which is yours whoever builds next. Then a 14-day Pilot Sprint in your repository lets you judge real output before you commit to the MVP.

Do you sign an NDA?

Yes. We sign a standard mutual NDA within 24 hours, before we see your code or your data. After that, every phase has its contract: scope, deliverables, payments, intellectual property (yours) and data protection.

Do you work with teams in the US?

Yes. Our senior engineers are hired directly in 14 countries and work with more than 6 hours of overlap with the US and with Europe, in English or Spanish. They join your tools, your repositories and your rituals, so your US team and ours ship as one.

Do you do product design?

We design the interfaces and flows of the product we build and take to production, as part of the delivery. We don't sell design as a standalone service or design retainers: if that is what you need, a product studio will serve you better.
